Version 1.2.0 – May 10, 2025
New Features
RWA Tokenization Wizard v2:
Enhanced the tokenization platform at app.real.finance with a revamped wizard for SMEs.
Added support for tokenizing new asset types, including intellectual property and future receivables.
Improved compliance checks with automated KYC/AML verification for faster onboarding.
CosmWasm Upgrade:
Upgraded the REAL Mainnet to support CosmWasm 1.5.0, enabling new smart contract features like batch transactions and gas optimization.

Staking Dashboard Enhancements:
Added a reward prediction calculator to the Staking Dashboard, helping users estimate returns based on their staked $ASSET tokens.
Improved validator sorting with new filters for uptime, commission rates, and community reputation.

Transaction Fee Optimization:
Reduced average transaction fees on the REAL Mainnet by 15% through improved gas estimation algorithms.
$ASSET token holders can now perform more transactions (e.g., tokenizing assets, trading) at a lower cost.
Explorer Performance:
Optimized the REAL Mainnet Explorer and Testnet Explorer for faster loading times and better search functionality.

Node Syncing:
Improved node synchronization speed for validators and full node operators by 20%, reducing setup time for new nodes.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where some smart contracts failed to execute due to incorrect gas limits. Affected contracts can now be re-deployed without errors.
Resolved a display bug in the Staking Dashboard where reward balances were not updating in real-time for some users.
Corrected an edge case in the Testnet Faucet faucet.real.finance that caused delays in token distribution for high-traffic periods.
Known Issues
Some users may experience intermittent delays when querying historical RWA tokenization data on the Mainnet Explorer. A fix is scheduled for the next release.
The Localnet setup may require additional configuration for macOS users running older versions of Go. See our Localnet Guide for a workaround.
Version 1.1.0 – March 15, 2025
New Features
Governance Voting Portal:
Launched a new governance voting portal at app.real.finance/governance.
$ASSET token holders can now propose and vote on network upgrades, inflation adjustments, and protocol changes directly from the portal.
Testnet Faucet Upgrade:
Increased the daily test $ASSET token limit on the Real Testnet Faucet from 1,000 to 5,000 tokens per address to support more extensive testing.
Added a CAPTCHA to prevent abuse and ensure fair distribution.
Improvements
Validator Onboarding:
Simplified the validator setup process with updated documentation in the Consensus Guide.
Reduced the minimum $ASSET stake for validators from 15,000 to 10,000 tokens to encourage broader participation.
API Enhancements:
Expanded the Real API docs.real.finance/api with new endpoints for querying tokenized RWA metadata and staking rewards.
Improved API response times by 30% for high-traffic queries.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug in the Real CLI (reald) where staking delegation transactions occasionally failed due to incorrect signature validation.
Resolved an issue in the REAL Testnet Explorer where some smart contract events were not properly indexed.
Corrected a typo in the tokenization wizard that caused confusion for SMEs uploading asset documentation.
Version 1.0.0 – January 20, 2025
Initial Release
REAL Mainnet Launch:
Officially launched the REAL Mainnet, a decentralized L1 blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK.
Introduced the $ASSET token with an initial supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens and a first-year inflation rate of 5% (52,500,000 tokens). See our Tokens Guide for details.
RWA Tokenization Platform:
Launched the tokenization platform at app.real.finance, enabling SMEs to tokenize assets like real estate, inventory, and invoices.
Network Explorers:
Released the REAL Mainnet Explorer and REAL Testnet Explorer for tracking transactions, blocks, and validator activity.
Staking and Governance:
Enabled staking of $ASSET tokens with the Staking Dashboard.
Introduced on-chain governance, allowing $ASSET holders to participate in network decision-making.
Developer Tools:
Provided initial support for smart contracts via CosmWasm, with tutorials available in the Tutorials section.
Launched the Real CLI (reald) and API docs.real.finance/api for developers to build on Real.
Known Issues (Resolved in Later Releases)
Initial node synchronization was slower than expected for some validators, resolved in v1.1.0.
The Testnet Faucet experienced occasional downtime during the first week, fixed in v1.1.0.
